Renaturation.
The beauty of the ordinary
Wildflowers are currently being sown along inner-city expressways and in parks in many large cities – according to precisely planned specifications – in order to promote biodiversity in urban areas.
The artistic macro photographs examine these man-made wildflower areas and reveal what is hidden in the undergrowth: the aesthetics of these prickly thistles, inconspicuous grasses and herbs, which until recently were considered ugly weeds struggling for their right to exist.

Boundary.
Tell your tree where the property line is!
Trees and shrubs do not adhere to property boundaries; they grow, blossom, proliferate and extend beyond the fence.
Their fate is determined by neighbourly relations, with ecological aspects playing a secondary role.
As if drawn with a ruler, nature follows the human plan.
What’s more, trees and shrubs create a sense of privacy, especially in densely populated cities. After pruning, this function is lost and property owners often replace it with plastic products.

Capture.
Game Over. Capture. Dance of the Molecules.
Croatia. A mysterious house, abandoned by humans, reclaimed by nature. Walls, floors, and ceilings are covered with moss and interwoven with branches; the key is still in the lock.
The photographs combine natural growth and human creation into an aesthetic whole.
Spatial, material, natural, and man-made structures come together, the wiring of the room and the delicate branches creeping through the cracks in the wall forming an almost sculptural unity.
